Today for lunch you may choose from Fiestada pizza, pasta with meat sauce and garlic toast, or a chicken sandwich. The side for today is a California blend of veggies with cheese sauce.

If you are interested in visiting with a rep from any of these universities, you must sign up in Naviance. If you need help with Naviance see Mrs. Williams in the student office or email @ marcia.williams@swcsd.us



Listen up Seniors!  Make your vote count!

Senior class officer elections are being done via a Google Form.  Check your email this week and be sure to vote for your class president, vice-president, and secretary.

Good luck to those students who are running.  Elected officers will be announced next Monday!



Do you like to read? If so, join the Westland Battle of the Books Team! We will travel to Westerville North High School in April to compete against other area high schools to see who knows more about the 25 books on the competition list. Interested? See Mrs. Young (or email her) in the library.



On October 4, 2018 the DECA program participated in the fall contest at Central Crossing.   The two categories included Public Relations and Parliamentarian.  Congratulations to the four students that placed top five in the competition out of the whole SWCS district.  In Public Relations, William Holland placed fifth.  In Parliamentarian, Madison Lopez placed third and Michael Ritchie placed fifth.  Out of the ten medals given out to the whole district, Westland brought home four.  A special congratulations to Yaretzi for placing first. She will now be competing at state level at the Career Development Conference on October 30th to compete for State Officer.  Congratulations!



Attention all fans of the boys’ soccer program:  Come out to Central Crossing tonight as we take on our cross town rivals during their senior night.  Come cheer us on as we hope to brand an L into the memories of every senior soccer player on the Central Crossing team.  You guys were a great support during our senior night and we want some more great support for us during their senior night.  The JV starts at 5:30 and the varsity kicks off at 7:15!
