SPORTS

Last night, the boys’ varsity soccer team lost a close match to Pickerington Central, 2-1.  Axel Rodriguez scored the lone goal on an assist from Bawi Lian in the first half.  The team plays its last regular season game at Jonathan Alder tomorrow afternoon with JV going at 2p and varsity at 4p.

Girls’ Soccer took on Franklin Heights last night and, despite possessing the ball for the majority of the second half and giving it their all, they fell short. Despite the 1-0 loss, their coaches are proud of the effort and clear improvements throughout the season. Keep working at it, and soon the work will pay off in wins. Next, your Soccer Lady Cougars take on Hilliard Darby for a post-season Tournament match. Wish them luck.
